The most useful thing you can send us is a correction. If an article states something that
is wrong, out of date, or unsafe, tell us which article and which claim and we will fix it.

What to get in touch about

  • Corrections. Point at the specific sentence — it makes the fix quick.
  • Topic suggestions. Especially questions you searched for and could not get a
    straight answer to.
  • Anything that reads as unsafe. We take this seriously and treat it as urgent.

What we cannot help with

We cannot diagnose a fault in your specific tool, tell you what to buy, or advise on wiring,
gas or structural work. For a fault, the manufacturer’s support line knows the machine and we do
not. For anything electrical or structural, please use a qualified tradesperson.

About what you read here. Everything on Find Tool is general information and our own editorial opinion. We research carefully and we say when the evidence is unclear, but we can be wrong, things change, and no article can know your particular situation. Please do your own research and make your own judgement rather than treating anything here as the final word. Prices, products and specifications around tools and workshop equipment change constantly, and what suits one person will not suit another. Check current details yourself, and where a decision involves real money, safety or something you cannot undo, it is worth confirming with the manufacturer, or a qualified electrician or tradesperson before you act.
